What is the latest? Something happenning on pay commission front? there is news about grade 3 being considered for 7450/- scale. Is it true? Is it justifiable? Are we ready to accept it? Does it not put us behind SOs etc. What is our association doing about it?

Anonymous said...

Friends,
I don't think 7450 is any worth taking scale as an upgradation! We should rather go to courts and get our legitimate due. And it should not be delayed.

Anonymous said...

So, even our worst fears have become true! We have not been found fit even for 7450/-. Shame on our netas. What were they doing all this while? Will somebody someday summon them for their judgement?

I think, instead of blaming one or the other, we should at least now get together and plan as to what we can do now on this. Lets have a comprehensive plan about what, how, when, who... to do. Please come up with suggestions and action plans.

Nobody else is to be blamed, except for ourselves. First, we didn't do anything, and then we leaned too much upon some of us! Uniting now, let's see, if at all it happens. alas!

Does anybody out there know what we want, what we need, what is already ours, what all has been taken away from us?

The finance ministry returned our pay scale file to MIB with queries

You are right. The administrators' purpose is served. Those who wanted to keep the flame up have been silenced.

Once again our hopes have been dashed! The ministry first dangled a carrot before us asses in the shape of early ad-hoc promotions to 70 officers, and then, only to delay it for god-knows-how-long, sent the file file for minister's signature, saying that since it is promotion into class one, it requires his approval. We are all intelligent enough to believe them. But there are two questions -(i) do we really need minister's signature on ad-hoc promotions?, and (ii) if it is so, why were these signature not sought earlier? The ministry thought of only on the eve of announce ment of general elections. It is heard - a responsible officer calls us rumour mongers, that top officers in the ministry sat together at 7.30 pm on 26th Feb on our promotion file. And what they come out is !!! that this can easily be delayed by being referred to minister. Does anybody have any doubts about their knowledge level? Every common man on the streets was expecting annoncement of polls on next day. That the top bureaucracy was not aware of this likely development would be a cruel joke even with asses like the ones found amongst us. IT WAS A DELIBERATE CRIMINAL ATTEMPT TO THWART OUR HOPES, MOVES, OR WHATEVER!!!

SO, WAKE UP AT LEAST NOW.

AND IF YOU CAN'T KEEP THE FLAME UP, PLEASE LET OTHERS....

Latest. Sensational. Top Secret.

BREAKING NEWS

Some group B IIS officers, with the help of seniors in PIB, planning to gherao the ministry officials after holi.

shhhh... keep it to yourselves.

Anonymous said...

Well the elections are declared. Nobody, no neta, did anything for us. Can we write them off? How about starting to boycott them and their activities. At least we can be inactive to their requests, as they have been to ours.

Our association can write demanding letters to netas, asking them for their support on coming to power. In return we can assure them of our fullest support. They only have to be told about our strength - 400 add officers in different field units of all possible publicity media!!!

once again we have been deceived.but for how many times ,how much, how often and up to what time?? Let me tell you all.
JAB TAK YE IAS FAIL SEEDHI BHARTI WALEY IIS HAMAREY BEECH ME HAIN.YE HAMAREY DUSHMAN NUMBER ONE HAIN.THEY DEVASTATE EVERY MOVE MEANT FOR OUR PROMOTION AND GROWTH. YOU MAY DISBELIEVE ME BUT AT YOUR OWN PERIL.......

We should demand the Ministry of I and B that India Information Service recruitment should be done in the manner of what is doing for the Indian Forest Service. IIS should be delinked from the combined civil services examination as the same is doing for the Indian Forest Service. There may be both written test and interview for the purpose and there should be only Group A starting for IIS. Whoever recruited earlier should be converted to Group A and later recruitments should be only for Group A. Information service is something very delicate and demands true professionalism in dealing with issues of public service communication for the upward mobility of the society. Not only mere educational qualification is important, but also the professional calibre is counted at the fore. So, the minimum eligibility of applying for the IIS should be the UPSC's present criteria i. e. graduation (general academic)and PG Degree/Diploma in Mass Communication(professional course) plus minimum 3 years experience in a reputed media organisation. Our system of giving ultimate supremacy to combined civil services is a colonial hangover(ICS legacy) ever after more than six decades of independence. It is hi time to have a liberalised set up of administration that keeps faith on pure professionalism. we should demand genuinely a grade pay of Rs. 5400 and starting pay of 15600-39100. Those who are in the chair of administration also should know the calibre, qualification and experience of the IIS Gr. B officers
